No Rainbows!
This was one of the signs in my class, "No Rainbows." Many of the teachers where very confused when they would see this sing in my class every time they dropped their kids. At first, it may seem a bit of harsh sign to have around signs that encourage students to try their best. I had this sign to help boost student's creativity in my art class. My first year as an art teacher I noticed that students would always color in a rainbow pattern or draw rainbows whenever given the chance. This is mainly because it is an easier thing for them to draw and the color combination is aesthetically pleasing without much fuss and thinking. However, students were always only drawing rainbows or coloring in rainbow like patterns and avoiding exploring other color combinations or ideas.
