Winter Musical Puppets

In December, students have a special event called, "Winter Musical". They practice for months to get ready for this musical. During the day of their performance there is a sign for each student, their character and a portrayal of their character. For this years (2019) performance I decided we would be making puppets.

Students told me who their characters were and I gave them guidelines as to the type of clothes their characters would have. I taught them how to make hats and hair for their characters. They colored using markers and we added special details with glitter and sequins to spruce them up a bit.
